Through its activities, Retrogametycoon wants to maintain the culture of playing old video games and enable retro game collecting in Finland. Therefore we offer a free shipping on all domestic orders over 80€!


Retrogametycoon's delivery options in Finland are small package, Posti parcel, Posti Express parcel and pick-up option from our Pasila pick-up point. Postage payment is determined by the volume, weight and shipping method chosen.


Small package 3,95€

A small package is the easiest way to order a single game or other small item and it will be delivered directly to your home address.

Posti parcel 4,95 – 8,90€

·     Delivery time 1-2 working days

·     Delivery to Posti office or to a Posti Smartship parcel locker

·     The price of a postal package is determined by the volume and weight of the products

*All orders placed on Friday before 3:00 p.m. will be delivered on the same day, and Posti aims to deliver them the following day on Saturday to parcel lockers or to a Posti office in the following locations: Espoo, Helsinki, Jyväskylä, Kauniainen, Kuopio, Lahti, Oulu, Pori, Seinäjoki, Tampere, Turku and Vantaa.


Posti Express package 9,95€

·     Distributed directly to the recipient,usually, by 2 p.m.on the working day following the shipment

·     The shipment is delivered to the address indicated on the address card and handed over against receipt. The service includes one distributionattempt. The recipient's name information is stored for shipment tracking

·     If the recipient cannot be reached, a notice of arrival will be left and the shipment will be delivered to the recipient's local post office for collection. Paid redistribution is available for the shipment. The shipment will be returned to the sender if it is not collected after the retention period has expired


Cash on delivery

For Posti Parcels and Posti Express parcels, you can also choose the cash on delivery option, in which case you pay for your order when picking up from Posti. The delivery fee for cash on delivery is 6,90€ and the maximum value of the order can be up to 2000€.


Handling time

We process orders on weekdays and orders placed before 15:00 will arrive at the post office the same day. Bank holidays and orders placed on weekends will be processed on the next business day.


Retrogametycoon's pick-up point

Orders can also be picked up from our Pasila pick-up point. We collect orders places on weekdays during the same day. Orders placed over the weekend will be available for pickup on the next business day. You will receive an email confirmation of your order when it is available for pickup.

·     You can come and pick up your order on the same business day until 18:00

·     The order can also be made unpaid, in which case payment will be made when picking up the order

·     The order can also be prepaid

·     At our pick-up point, you can also buy products from our online store

·     We will keep unpaid orders reserved for fourteen days. If you are not able to collect your order within this framework, you can send us an email at info@retrogametycoon.com to extend the storage period.


Payment methods

As a payment service, we use Finnish Paytrail, which allows you to pay for your order with Finnish online banking codes and payment cards (debit and credit), Mobile Pay payment method and Walley invoice.

Paytrail Oyj is shown as the recipient of the payment on the back statement and forwards the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj is licensed as a payment institution.

Credits as a payment method

Orders can also be paid either fully or partially with Retrogametycoon credits. You can get store credits by exchanging your games to us as an exchange value or from Retro Club bonuses.

One store credit equals one euro, and they are valid as a discount on all products in our online store.

To receive and use credits, you must have a registered customer account. Credits remain in your customer account and do not expire.


Order returns, complaints and defective products

Ordered products have a 14-day return policy. The returned product must be in the same condition as when purchased. If the customer has purchased a new product which is still in factory made shrink wrap or is still otherwise sealed and it is opened, and its value has been therefore significantly demised we will reduce this value from the final refund amount.

Retrogametycoon's used games, consoles and other merchandise come with a one-month functionality guarantee from the date of purchase.

If there is a problem with the ordered product or you want to return the ordered product with a 14-day return policy, please contact us by email at info@retrogametycoon.com and we will give you instructions on how to return the items. In your contact message, mention your name, email address and order number, which can be found on the printed receipt that came with the order.

It is most convenient to return received products in the same packaging as they were sent.

If a dispute concerning the sale cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, the consumer may refer the dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board www.kuluttajariita.fi for resolution.

Before taking the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer must contact the Consumer Advisory Services of the Local Register Offices.


Packing of orders

We carefully pack the ordered products in bubble wrap to keep them intact during transport. Small one-game shipments are sent in a bubble wrap letter. Parcel deliveries are padded in a cardboard box.


Shipment tracking

All orders sent via Posti include a tracking number. When your order is shipped, our system will automatically send you your order tracking number. It allows you to track the progress of your shipment. The procedure requires that the customer’s user information is filled in with a valid email address and phone number.

Posti’s system will send you a notification via text message or email message when your order can be picked up from a Posti office or a Posti Smartpost locker.
